All the principles and tools required for international licensing as a Practitioner of NLP.

PLUS

The simple, three-part Medical NLP Consultation Model. This “whole person” approach integrates seamlessly into any consultation, enriches differential diagnosis by taking important psycho-social elements into consideration, and helps you:

  • Gain instant rapport and concordance
  • Enhance the two-way process of communicating with patients
  • Orientate “problem” beliefs and behaviour towards healing and health
  • Uncover hidden agendas or unconscious obstacles that may block progress
  • Determine how the patient may be maintaining his or her problem or illness
  • Use up-to-date, solution-oriented approaches to devising treatment plans
  • Manage your own stress levels and restore work-life balance
  • Work comfortably and effectively with “difficult” patients
  • Improve patient satisfaction and adherence
  • Reduce the risk of complaints and litigation
  • Learn practical, adjunctive, non-pharmacological skills to help manage a wide range of physical and emotional problems, including stress and anxiety disorders, depression, phobic responses, addictive behaviours, chronic pain, dermatological, gastro-intestinal and other conditions with psychogenic components
  • The course will be taught by Garner Thomson, training director of the Society of Medical NLP. Garner has a long history and a continuing passion for using NLP in clinical settings. Unlike many who attended courses over days or weeks, Garner trained with Richard Bandler for a year and assisted on many of his courses; they are still in regular contact. Garner has an active patient practice in London (a great help when it comes to discussing real life patient situations), as well as doing corporate creative development and TV presenting. He is the author of the official guide to Medical NLP - Magic in Practice, endorsed and introduced by Dr Richard Bandler, Co-creator and Developer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
